Helping to connect the right ministry leader with the right church has always been an important part of Southwest Church Connection / SWCBA. We are now able to offer online tools to assist in that important process.

FOR SWCC CHURCHES:

1)  For SWCC churches, we offer our Pastoral Search Manual. We believe you’ll find this tool most helpful.  It’s organized around twelve steps that churches and pastoral search committees can quickly access and explore from just a click of your mouse.  Click on the link below to get started. 2)  SWCC is part of a project with Western Seminary (Portland, San Jose, Sacramento) and Ministry Web Directory, which allows any of our associated churches to post a pastor or staff position opening for free that will be visible to students and alumni of Western Seminary.

To add your ministry position or student internship opportunities, click on the link below and follow the instructions.

This link will take you to the MWD site where you will be instructed to enter your church’s zip code.  Once you have entered your zip code, our web service will confirm your membership in our district/region and provide you with instructions to post your opening.

Once you post an opening, our office will forward it to college and seminary campuses which we have selected in order to get the largest exposure from alumni and students.  Applicants will be instructed to respond to SWCC.  We will then pre-screen the applicants and send the qualified ones to you.  There is no fee to your church for this service.  SWCC is paying for the posting fees.
